About Philippa Anderson
Philippa is committed to positive social change and is deputy chair of leading environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy and an independent governor of Manchester Metropolitan University, the UK's most sustainable university. Previous volunteer experience includes: trustee of charity SeeAbility, an English teacher in Asian refugee camps for UNHCR (United Nations Refugee Agency), and speaker for Save the Children.
After completing a Business degree, Philippa worked in marketing and PR in London before becoming an independent communications consultant and writer. She has lived and worked in SE Asia and continues to contribute to publications there. She has an active interest in creative writing, is a member of the Society of Authors and is working on her second novel but suffers from ORBS (over rewriting book syndrome).
